In India we have the "Country tomatoes" which are roundish in shape. There is this variety called "Apple tomatoes" which are oval in shape, less sour and more sweet. I don't know the botanical names though!
Here's a still life with "Apple tomatoes" and one gherkin to give them "complementary" company !!
